Green Apple Baked Oatmeal With Walnuts

1. Preheat oven to 375F, then grease an 8 or 9-inch baking dish. 2. In a bowl combine oats, walnuts, cinnamon, baking powder and sea salt. 3. In a separate bowl combine milk, egg, Greek yogurt, walnut oil, and maple syrup. Then fold wet mixture into dry. 4. Layer apples on the bottom of your greased dish, then drizzle the Green Apple white balsamic. Next, pour oat mixture over the top of apples and sprinkle remaining walnuts on top. 5. Bake for 45 minutes or until top is golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes then drizzle with melted butter and serve.

2 C rolled oatmeal
1 egg
1 ½ C milk (almond and oat milk work as well for a dairy free option)
½ C Greek yogurt (can substitute for milk)
½ C walnuts (chopped, 1/4 cup reserved for topping)
2 T The Olive Bin’s Roasted Walnut Oil
1/3 C maple syrup
1 tsp baking powder
1 T salted butter (melted)
1 green apples (peeled, cored, and sliced)
¼ C The Olive Bins Green Apple White Balsamic
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp sea salt

 

Directions

3. In a separate bowl combine milk, egg, Greek yogurt, walnut oil, and maple syrup. Then fold wet mixture into dry.
