Espresso Balsamic Poached Pears

1.  Simmer pears in balsamic, wine, sugar, and cinnamon until tender (about 20 minutes). 2.  Serve warm with mascarpone or ice cream, topping with poaching liquid.  YUM!

2-3 firm pears, halved
1/2 C of The Olive Bin's Espresso Balsamic Vinegar
1 C red wine
1/4 C sugar
1 cinnamon stick
Mascarpone or vanilla ice cream for serving

Directions

1.  Simmer pears in balsamic, wine, sugar, and cinnamon until tender (about 20 minutes).

2.  Serve warm with mascarpone or ice cream, topping with poaching liquid.  YUM!
