Homemade Mayo

In order that they are listed, add each ingredient to a tall, wide-mouth mason jar. Let ingredients rest for about 20 seconds or so. Use an immersion blender on high speed for about 20 seconds, make sure it reaches all the way to the bottom. The mayonnaise will immediately begin to set up and fill the jar. After it is almost all the way set, slowly pull the immersion blender towards the top of the jar without taking the blades out of the mayonnaise. Then slowly push it back towards the bottom of the jar. Repeat the step a couple of times until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Ingredients

2 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice

1 egg

1/2 tsp mustard powder

1/2 tsp sea salt

1 C of any of The Olive Bin's Extra Virgin Olive Oils (mild recommend)

Additional Info

You can always subsitute the extra virgin olive oil to add a twist to this classic mayo. We recommend Garlic and Dill!
