Kansas City-Style Slow Cooker Beef Brisket

Place all ingredients except BBQ sauce in slow cooker and cook on low 8-10 hours until meat shreds. Once shredded, add BBQ sauce, and return to slow cooker for additional 30 minutes on high.

Ingredients

4-5 lbs beef brisket

2 T celery seed

1 t salt

2 garlic cloves, minced

4 T liquid smoke

4 T of The Olive Bin's Espresso Dark Balsamic Vinegar

20 whole black peppercorns

2 C of your favorite BBQ sauce

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients except BBQ sauce in slow cooker and cook on low 8-10 hours until meat shreds.
  2. Once shredded, add BBQ sauce, and return to slow cooker for additional 30 minutes on high.
