Skillet Pork Chops & Apples

Sprinkle pork chops with 1/2 tsp oregano, salt, and pepper. Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops to skillet; brown 3 minutes on each side. Remove from pan. In same pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add apples, onion, and remaining oregano; cook 6-8 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring continuously. Reduce heat to medium-low; stir in applesauce and balsamic vinegar. Return pork chops to pan; cook, covered, 4-6 minutes or until pork is tender. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

4 boneless pork chops (appx 4 oz each)
1/2 tsp + 1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
1 1/2 tsp of The Olive Bin's Herbes de Provence Olive Oil
2 small apples, cut into 1/2-in slices
1 C sliced sweet onion
1/3 C unsweetened applesauce
1/4 C of The Olive Bin's Red Apple Balsamic Vinegar (Seasonal)
