2 1/2 C old-fashioned oats
1/2 C oat bran
1/2 C sliced almonds
1/4 C thawed apple juice concentrate
2 T of The Olive Bin's Red Apple Balsamic Vinegar (Seasonal)
1/3 C of The Olive Bin's Butter Olive Oil
1/3 C honey
1 C puffed rice cereal
1 C dried apples, chopped
1/2 C toasted wheat germ
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 C raisins

- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- In a large bowl, combine the oats, oat bran, and almonds; set aside.
- In a small saucepan, combin the apple concentrate, Red Apple balsamic, Butter oil, and honey. Cook and stir over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through. Remove from heat; stir in the cereal, dried apples, wheat germ, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour over oat mixture and toss to coat.
- Transfer to two greased 15"x10"x1" baking pans. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Cool on wire racks. Stir in raisins (or dark chocolate chips). Store in an airtight container.
Additional Info
Use this deliciously crunchy granola as a topping for yogurt, a cereal served over milk, or eat alone as a healthy snack.
If you're not a raisin fan, try substituting with dark chocolate chips.
