Red Apple Cinnamon Granola

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the oats, oat bran, and almonds; set aside. In a small saucepan, combin the apple concentrate, Red Apple balsamic, Butter oil, and honey. Cook and stir over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through. Remove from heat; stir in the cereal, dried apples, wheat germ, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour over oat mixture and toss to coat. Transfer to two greased 15"x10"x1" baking pans. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Stir in raisins (or dark chocolate chips). Store in an airtight container.

2 1/2 C old-fashioned oats
1/2 C oat bran
1/2 C sliced almonds
1/4 C thawed apple juice concentrate
2 T of The Olive Bin's Red Apple Balsamic Vinegar (Seasonal)
1/3 C of The Olive Bin's Butter Olive Oil
1/3 C honey
1 C puffed rice cereal
1 C dried apples, chopped
1/2 C toasted wheat germ
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 C raisins

Directions

Additional Info

Use this deliciously crunchy granola as a topping for yogurt, a cereal served over milk, or eat alone as a healthy snack.

If you're not a raisin fan, try substituting with dark chocolate chips.
